Buddhism: The Awakening of Wisdom and
Compassion |
|
A talk given in the
United States, this
book is an excellent introduction to
Buddhism and, in particular, to the
Pure
Land
school. After explaining that Buddhism
is an education, Master Chin Kung goes
on to discuss the goal of Buddhist
practice, and also explains the
symbolism of Buddhist images and
offerings. The main section of the book
details for
Pure
Land
practitioners his five guidelines, which
include the Three Conditions, Six
Harmonies, Threefold Learning, Six
Paramitas, and Ten Great Vows.

Changing Destiny |
|
Liaofan's Four Lessons, a book which tells how almost 500 years
ago in China, Yuan Liaofan, destined to
be heirless and doomed to die
young, learned from a Zen master to
re-create his future. Following the
master's advice, he attained
happiness, security, and a son. Not
knowing what lay in his son's future,
but to help him improve it, Liaofan
explained these life-changing
principles in the book known as
Liaofan's Four Lessons.
Changing Destiny is Master Chin Kung's explanation of this
small but potentially life-changing
book.
