From Brisbane, you can either go north to the Bruce Highway and then at Caboolture go west on the Daguilar Highway to Nanango; or you can go west on the Warrego Highway, then north on the Brisbane Valley Highway, and turn left on to the Daguilar Highway and continue to Nanango.

As you enter Nanango from the south from Brisbane, you will see the cycle and walking track leading to Tipperary Park on your left side. As you continue driving alongside the park, you will see a BP gas station on your left. Just before and opposite the station, turn right on Arthur Street. Bear left on South Street and continue on South Street as it curves to the right and become Old Esk North Road. About fifty meters on the left is Greenwood Creek Road. Continue on Greenwood Creek Road for 1.6 kms. As the road curves to the right you will see the Amitabha Buddhist Retreat Centre on the right-hand side of the road. Enter through the green and white gates, and drive up the bitumen driveway. The first left, a gravel lane, will take you to the centre.
